Dr. Tarmo Tamm

Tarmo Tamm received his Ph.D from the University of Tartu (Estonia) in 2003. After working at the Tallinn Technical University (research fellow) and Molcode Ltd (head of R&D), he is now the associated professor of material sciences at the Institute of Technology, University of Tartu and manages the R&D activities in Genecode Ltd.. His main research interests are the theoretical as well as experimental design and characterization of novel materials, including nanomaterials and polymers. He has published over 100 peer reviewed research papers. He has led and is currently leading several applied projects focusing of the design and application of novel functional materials and technologies for the industry.
